The image shows a close-up of a young child with a pensive expression, resting their chin on their hand, with text "THE THREE YEAR OLD" above.

This production shows a three year old girl’s changing behaviour in different situations, the focus is on communication and engagement with adults of various standing within the child’s world. The study of such contrasting scenarios will provide you with an understanding of the impact of change and separation, and the unadulterated link between children and their feelings.

Children can behave very differently in different situations. A child that is quiet at nursery may be very chatty at home where they feel most comfortable and confident. Having insight on how a child’s behaviour may change depending on where they are or who they’re with, can help to build up a true picture of them so you are then able to support and plan for them most effectively.
