From the beginning
0 – 20 months: Positive examples of how to nurture literacy in the first two years.
Moving on
20 months – 3.5 years: Fine motor skills, mark making and imaginative scenarios, stories, rhymes, books and putting thoughts into words.
Getting there
3 – 5 years: Building confidence and supporting development. Playing with language, pretend games and story making.
